I’m not the world’s best at graphics. I refused to try Photoshop until 2012, though my (self-proclaimed) forte is computers/technology/photography. I just couldn’t grasp the layers.
With all of the giveaways and other events going on at Sublime Media Connection, I’ve decided to get a little bit more into Photoshop.
Today, I tried to create a button using an image from a sponsor’s site, but when I put it all together, it had a white background in the middle of the button that already had a button. Well, I’ve at least gotten far enough to learn about background transparency, though my Photoshop skills are still severely lacking.
Here I am now. I did a quick search on “how to make a white background transparent in photoshop”….VOILA!
The directions were VERY easy to follow and are posted on eHow, which I’ve grown to LOVE for learning HOW to do almost anything. I’ve used it for making pastries (this coming from a person who can barely make hamburger patties), learning how to stop bleeding of my dogs toenail, gardening tips and more.
