Share Multiple Photos from your iPhone

For the longest time, I've been sending photos one by one from my iPhone via email or message. This video is a great tutorial on how to share multiple photos via email or message.

Please note that the number of photos combined with the total size will determine your options. I was able to send up to 5 photos at 11.6mb total at once via email. Results may vary!

Word To Your Mother

MelissaSayWhat and MommaSayWhat have been playing Words With Friends together for a few months now. I play on my iPhone or Kindle (sometimes Facebook) and my mother plays on Facebook.

I started out fairly responsive, playing every few days, if not more frequently. As of late, I've become more lax and play once per week, mostly on the weekends. So, my mother sends me Facebook messages and text messages, simply stating "Word To Your Mother", as a reminder that it's my turn. It makes me giggle and I just thought I would share!

A little bit of history goes along with it, of course. My Dad's side of the family are Scrabble enthusiasts. Any gathering of family, from vacations to holiday visits and more, almost always included Scrabble battles. Accompanied with the most valuable lesson my Dad taught me ("look it up"), Scrabble has always been a passion of mine. Playing Words with Friends, helps me to stay connected with my mother who lives over 1,800 miles away.

Ta-da, there she goes again!

{REVIEW} Foodspotting App

Foodspotting recently earned a spot in Gizmodo's iPhone apps of the week. I've had this app for many months now, but it hasn't quite seemed to take off and I don't know why. People have always poked at me for taking pictures of my food. I do it at home after I've made something really nifty, or even after an epic failure. I also love to take pictures of great food finds at restaurants. That is exactly what Foodspotting is for.

Before you give up because you don't have an iPhone or other iDevice (iPod, iPad), this app is also available for Android, Windows Phone and Blackberry.

Not only can you take & share photos of great dishes, but now you can also make reservations through OpenTable, view menus and read reviews at Yelp.

You may have noticed that I recently added my Foodspotting finds to my sidebar, on the lower right hand side of the page. I love trying new restaurants and Foodspotting has been the perfect avenue to do so, whether locally or while traveling. Nothing lures me in more than a good picture of a dish! I love all types of cuisine from Italian to Pho or Jamaican to Korean BBQ. Foodspotting has been a blessing in discovering locally owned, small businesses.

Foodspotting is now also connected to Scoutmob, so you can find specials and deals easily. A photo of a food, combined with a deal, quick access to a review on Yelp and the ability to make reservations through OpenTable at select restaurants. You can't go wrong!

My favorite part about the app is the ability to bookmark, per se, restaurants or foods I want to try.

With the recent improvements to the app, this is one of my must-have iPhone apps! I highly recommend it!

{REVIEW} AppShopper for iPhone, iPod and iPad

I've been an iPhone user since iPhone 4 came out. I wasn't so fortunate to actually get the iPhone 4, but rather a hand me down iPhone 3G. It wasn't even the 3GS.

In the early 2000's I was a phone-a-holic. My idea of a 12-step program was a phone a month. Well, it wasn't really that drastic, but I would say I snagged a new phone at least twice per year and it was always the latest and greatest technology. I even remember the first COLOR Blackberry! I've had experiences with multiple major phone manufacturers from Sony Ericsson (my first cell phone) to Motorola, Samsung, Blackberry, Sidekick, Nokia and more.

I was a single parent at the time, but I lived with my parents. When I moved out in 2006, I drastically downgraded. Not only did I decide it wasn't worth the money, but quite frankly, I grew tired of the world FOLLOWING ME EVERYWHERE! I just wanted to drive into the sunset with no interruptions every once in a while. As a single parent, that wasn't entirely possible. I went prepaid and everyone knew it. My time is limited, so make it worth it!

Around 2008, I slowly reentered the technology world, but still with nothing too fancy. When the iPhone 4 came out, I inherited an iPhone 3G. I had used it many a times for the apps and games. To this day, I still utilize my iPhone 4, that I got just over a year ago, primarily for apps and games. It is VERY seldom that I actually use it for phone calls or text messages.

With that and my inclination towards frugality, I prefer free apps. You might think that you can't get a quality app for free, but this is untrue. I don't recall how I found AppShopper, but I'm so glad I found it.
