No matter what I'm doing, I always strive to do my best. One book that has touched me, though it may seem to be tailored to specific industries, is The Goal: A Process of Ongoing Improvement by Eliyahu M. Goldratt. The Goal is a novel and business book that discusses the Theory of Constraints, among other things.

Week 2 of 'This is Not Jessica Simpson's Closet: Week 1' was skipped. I'm a procrastinator beyond belief. What can I say? I will post an update this week.. The goal is to get every article of clothing hung up. Perhaps I might share a few articles of shame. Get ready by picking out one item in your closet that you don't know why you still have or would never really wear.
I have a ton of great reviews coming up within the next few days/weeks. From Noxicare to office supplies to the AHA Brazilian Peel or even John Freida's FrizzEase, The I Like Book, Eraselet, Couponizer, Cleopatra's Choice and more stay tuned. If you have a child, teen or are an adult returning to school this fall, let me know what products you'd like to see reviewed for the Back to School Blast Giveaway!
I decided to take the plunge (again) and start monitoring my caloric intake along with exercise. I'm using Lose It! for the iPhone. Read more here. Be sure to follow my weight loss journey.
A tribute to my son, who just celebrated his 13th birthday.
Halloween 2005.
Living in Georgia, Halloween can either mean earmuffs and scarves or beautiful weather. This Halloween, we were fortunate to have beautiful weather, so before we took off for trick-or-treating festivities we had a little fun in the yard. I was able to capture this great photo of youthfulness and happiness. Ah, what a memory! He is still with his Dad, hopefully returning after celebrating Father's Day!

This is my first time visiting your site. I enjoyed this particular post because it gives me something to look forward to in the coming weeks, and gives me an idea of your blog "feel". Awesome!
This is a great post Melissa! Thanks for sharing! The photo of your son made me say "Aww!"
you're sure braver than i am! i would NEVER show my closet….it looks like an audition for hoarders! lol lol lol
Great post I like how you to tell a little about yourself and about the upcoming giveaways. I will be looking forward to reading about your weight loss journey and if you get all your clothes hung up. My closet is a complete mess and I procrastinate alot on it because the door is closed and I cant see the mess constantly. I also hate cleaning bathrooms so I put that off too. With two boys/guys living here it gets pretty disgusting
