Smart Food Selects Feta Herb Hummus Popped Chips

I received FREE Smartfood Selects products from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest opinion. #gotitFree.

I had never heard of Smartfood Selects before joining this BzzCampaign.  If you’re not familiar with BzzAgent be sure to check them out on the web or read my post about BzzAgent here.

The Smartfood Selects Feta Herb Hummus Popped Chips came in a 0.8 oz. bag.  They boast a measly 110 calories, 0.5 grams of Saturated Fat, 170mg of Sodium and 1g of sugar.

As you can see from the picture above, they are crispy chips and are packed with flavor such as Black Pepper, Rosemary and Basil along with Cheddar and Feta Cheese.

Each bite felt light and airy, but at the same time crispy.  I could definitely taste the herbs, as well as the feta.  I’m literally salivating for more as I write this.  I want to lick my screen!!

These crispy chips could easily replace my need for vending machine snacks any day.  Goodness knows I’m in LOVE with White Cheddar Popcorn and Funyons.  With the Smartfood Selects, I feel like I’m eating a gourmet chip!

I love the fact that they contain no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.  The ingredients list is not filled with product names I cannot pronounce.  Plus, they are Kosher, contain ZERO MSG and ZERO grams of trans fat.

The Popped Chips come in other flavors such as Garlic Tomato Basil, Cinnamon Brown Sugar and Italian Herb.  I’d love to try ALL of these flavors.  Based on the texture of the chip, I feel that all of these flavors would work VERY well with my palate.

Best of all, they’re available at your local retailers such as Kroger, CVS, Safeway, Walgreens, Harris Teeter and more.  Find a store near you here.

The full sized puffed corn I received comes in a re-sealable bag, which is SUPER awesome! I’ll be reviewing that later, so stay tuned!

Overall, I will buy these OVER and OVER again and I can’t wait to try other flavors and varieties.  Generally, I tend to stick with products that offer a cost-savings as well as health benefits, but regardless of price I’d definitely shell out more money for these.  Even my 13-year old son liked them.
