Facebook has a limit to the number of pages you can like. It is currently limited to 5,000 pages. As a blogger who loves to enter fellow blogger's giveaways, I find this to be a huge restraint. At first, I tried to unlike some pages. Then I ran into the hurdle again and again. The method I was using to unlike pages was not easy, but I found an easier way.
Maintenance Tips
- Be sure not to UNLIKE fellow bloggers or companies that you remember being part of a giveaway entry on Rafflecopter or Giveaway Tools, if you're entering sweepstakes on blogs.
- Don't just like ANYTHING. It's tempting to like pages with ads or brand pages that require a like to enter a contest. Don't do it unless you really want to. Visit the page first and if liking them is "required" to enter a sweepstakes on a brand's Facebook page, check the official rules. Based on Facebook rules, you should pretty much be able to unlike them after entering. Please note this may not apply to off-site (blog, etc.) Rafflecopter and Giveaway Tools entries.
