I recently moved into a rental home with a third bedroom, as opposed to a two-bedroom apartment at the same rate. I had big plans for my third bedroom. It was going to be an office/media room. Instead it turned into a makeshift "closet" per se. 3 months later, I'm not digging it and something must be done.
Today, I started with 15 minutes of hanging up clothes. This is the before picture. Please note that I have two closets that have clothing on hangers. One is barely populated, the other is FULL. I do have other closets, but I'd like to leave my son's closet to him and my hallway closet to guests. All of my closets put together don't equal the amount of closet space I had in the master bedroom of the apartment. Needless to say, I must sort through my clothes and donate some things.
In the meantime, consider this phase 1 of the ultimate room makeover. My third bedroom will be an office, hell or high water! I hardly have anything to lend to an office, but through garage sales, Freecycle and more I enter the ultimate challenge of turning what you see here into an office/media room.
Oh dear, this is mild. We have an avalanche of laundry right now. I don't even feel bad saying, I flat out refused to deal with it for the past few days. I am afraid if I get too close to it, I might not ever be found again… yeah. It is that bad.
I can't wait to see the progress!

Hey, are you sure you didn't take a picture of my bedroom? Just kidding, but my bedroom has looked like that and worse! My problem is I have only one room to act as my bedroom, storage area, etc.
