Extra spending money? Who has that these days? While you think it may be impossible to get ahead, and stay ahead of the monthly bill paying cycle, it is not. There are ways to get extra cash in your pocket each month without ever having to leave the house. You can do this right from your home computer.

With the many reward sites available, like Cashback with Rewardit, you can have that extra cash to spend, just for surfing the net. That is correct. With a reward site, you sign onto the site, create a free account and begin shopping, or playing a game, or just searching. Your activity is tracked and at the end of the month, you have accumulated real money. You have the opportunity to spend the money in the site's reward shop, where you will find plenty of items to buy, coffee mugs, books, DVDs, CDs, and many others. Or, you can choose the cash option and just take the money and run.

What could you do with that extra money? Breathe easier knowing that your budget has a little more flexibility and you have the opportunity to use your online time to create extra income with very little effort.

Household Tragedies

Unexpected household expenses can easily pop up. A broken fridge, a busted gutter, a smoking televison. You can use your extra cash to replace it, and not have to add to a probably already overburdened credit card account. Something in the house is always breaking down, and it would be nice to know that you have a little extra to keep running smoothly.

Share A Nice Meal

Take the family to dinner! Wouldn't it be nice to reward the family to a nice dinner out, and not have to worry about paying for it later? With a reward account you can choose a restaurant gift card, or just use that extra cash. Make sure you use your gift card in timely fashion, if you choose this option.

Surprise One Of The Kids

Sometimes the family budget doesn't have enough give to support special suprises for our loved ones. Seeing a grateful smile on family members when you suprise them with a special outfit is even sweeter when you know you haven't thrown the budget out, because you've used your extra online rewards income!

Have a Little Extra On Hand

Even the best budgeted households have expenses that come along unplanned and unexpectedly. Having a little extra in the bank, or at your fingertips takes away from the burden of those unexpected mishaps.

The great thing about cash earned through online rewards programs like Cashback with Rewardit is that you get to spend it any way you like. While you may be planning on keeping a little nest egg for the house, you can splurge on yourself as well.

{BLOGGERS} Improving your SEO In Layman’s Terms

Improving your SEO (Search engine Optimization)———In Layman’s Terms

By “Desert Pro”

So you just stated your own small business, created a website, and can’t figure out how to improve your Google ranking without spending a ton of money?  And you need some help. This post may help you.

Here is the experience of one small business man who optimized his Google rank to #1, #2, or #3, page one results, in multiple keyword searches for a total SEO cost of $40.00.

I own/owned a start up commercial cleaning business. Not a lot of capital for start-up. I purchased a domain name from Register.com and bought one of their “Do it yourself” websites. Many domain hosting sites will allow you to use their flexible website templates to create your own website without having to know and understand HTML.

My initial website had a Home page, an additional “Services” page, an “About us” page, and a “Contact form” (easy to set up with your web host) and linked to my business email address. I created some interesting content that spoke about my business. I was ready for a steady stream of customers viewing my website……Not! LOL.  No one could find me. I was buried.

My first challenge was getting Google’s “spyders”, and other search engine “bots” to identify my website, cataloge it, and page rank it, so that prospective customers who searched Google under keywords “Tucson commercial cleaning” and other keyword searches, might see my website.

I had been told that it could take 4-6 weeks before Google, and other search engines, would cataloge my site. Gulp! That’s where the $40.00 comes in. I purchased $40.00 of Google ads under my most advantageous keywords and much to my amazement; Google cataloged my website in 5 days. Yahoo and Bing soon followed.  Unfortunately, my website was ranked on page 38. No one would ever find me! What to do? What to do?

I put out the word to my Facebook family of 800. Please do a Google search under the following search terms “Tucson Commercial cleaning”, “Tucson warehouse cleaning”, “Tucson office cleaning”, etc., etc.,. You get the picture. 20-30 of my Facebook friends helped me out, after repeated polite begging. Count 6 more days for Google to read the traffic to my site. I moved from page 38 to page 8. Some success.

But………I’VE GOT TO GET TO PAGE #1! WHAT DO I DO?

So, I asked my Facebook family of friends. One of my friends, whom I had never personally met, happened to be an SEO guru. He looked at my site and offered my several suggestions to improve my page rank.  I will pass these on to you.

1.       Find a way to get your best keyword search term into the “Title” on your website Home page. I changed my Home page title from “Desert Pro Commercial Cleaning LLC” to “Tucson Commercial Cleaning: Desert Pro Commercial Cleaning LLC”.

2.       Add pages with additional relevant content. Title your additional pages using other relevant keyword search terms. For example, I added a page titled “Tucson Construction Cleanup”.

3.       Take full advantage of the meta tags allowed at the bottom of your website pages. If you don’t know what a “meta tag” is visit my website http://www.tucsondesertpro.com/ and look at the bottom of each of my pages.

4.       Add content/text to your pages that creatively integrates your targeted keyword searches into the body of the text. Be careful when doing this as Google will penalize you for “wallpapering” your website with keyword searches.

5.       Link your site to other sites that will steer potential customers to your website. I can’t say that I applied this tip to any significant degree……………………….because within 7 days I had moved to Google page one on 6 of 7 keyword search terms relevant to my business. Now that’s what I’m talking about!

Lastly, keep updating your content with new material. Don’t be afraid of trying new page titles, Experiment with your content. Encourage your friends to search out your business using relevant keyword searches. Repeatedly searching your own business from your own IP address has limited value. Multiple IP addresses must search your site to maximize your SEO. Low cost Facebook ads and the “hits” they bring to your website are still recognized by Google’s algorithm, as of this post.

I hope this helps you and your business or cause.
